Squale "Polipetto"
Police divers carry out on average a total of over 5000 hours of diving per year, so it’s not for nothing that their official motto reads "Our sky begins where yours ends". It is an honor that a Squale watch is entrusted to mark the time spent upholding safety and security in the underwater world

In carrying out these expert missions, the divers of the State Police operate in the most diverse and often dangerous environmental and operational contexts, from cold and rough winter seas, to murky port bays, rivers and lakes, and even in wells and flooded cisterns. In these complex operational scenarios safety is based on two essential components: human factor and equipment. The divers’ high level of training has to be matched by the absolute competence of the equipment used.
In these contexts, a diving watch is not simply an accessory, but an indispensable instrument for measuring time in which every moment is calculated. It is a device that is never affected by even the most prohibitive conditions at great depths, such as exposure to thermal shocks and impact, always guaranteeing maximum reliability.

• Helium valve;
• Printed rather than applied indexes made entirely of SuperLuminova, ensuring excellent brightness in any depth and light conditions;
• Double strap in rubber and NATO;
• The logo of the Italian State Police Diving Unit; the so-called Octopus, the famous symbol of the Diving Unit, is printed on the dial and engraved on the caseback together with the patent number of the diver to whom the watch is assigned.

Today the whole 2002 collection has been renewed. The helium valve is installed on all versions, and a dial has been designed with buckshot indexes, in honor of the version produced for the Italian State Police.
